Rice Kheer/Doodhpak


Ingredients :

Basmati Rice/ Jeera rice- 2 cups
Milk- 2 litres
Sugar- 1  3/4 cup
Cardamom pdr- 3 tsp
Saffron diluted in warm milk
Chopped cashews and almonds sauted in ghee - 1/2 cup

Method :

Pressure cook rice with  milk till rice is cooked. Transfer to a vessel and boil it. Add sugar, cardamom pdr and boil again. Keep stirring. Add saffron diluted in warm milk. Finally add dry fruits.
