Ingredients:
1 kg chicken
2 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp jeera
1/4 tsp methi seeds
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
5 garlic flakes
7 kashmiri red chillies
1/2 tsp haldi powder
Marble sized tamarind
7 roasted red chillies
1.5 cups grated coconuts
1 tsp jeera
5 garlic flakes
2 tbsp ghee + 1 tsp oil
1 sprig curry leaves
4 chopped onion + 1/2 chopped onion
Roast coriander seeds, jeera, methi seeds, mustard seeds, garlic and red chillies in little ghee/oil for 6-7 mins. and then grind it along with tamarind and red chillies. Make a fine paste
Grind grated coconut along with jeera and garlic flakes for 5 seconds. Keep aside
Heat ghee+ oil in a pan. Add curry leaves and chopped onions. Fry till it becomes dark brown. Then add chicken and 1/2 chopped onion. Fry for 2 mins and add the above masala and sufficient water and salt.
After the chicken is cooked well add the coconut mixture
