Gobi Urval


Ingredients:

1 tsp coriander seeds
A small piece of cinnamon
1 tsp jeera
1 cardamom
1 clove
10 peppercorns.
6 chopped cashewnuts
1 sprig curry leaves

1/2 cup maida
1/4 cup rice flour
1 tsp chilli pdr
Salt
2 cups Cauliflower florets
Oil to deep fry

2 sliced onions
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli pdr
1 tsp turmeric pdr
Salt

Method :

Dry roast  coriander seeds, cinnamon,  jeera, cardamom,  clove and peppercorns. make a fine powder. keep aside
Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped cashews and curry leaves. Fry for 2 mins. Drain and keep aside
Make  a batter of maida, rice flour, red chilli pdr and salt. Dip cauliflower in it and deep fry
Heat oil in a pan. Add finely sliced onions and fry till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell disappears. Add red chilli pdr, haldi and the spice powder already made. Add the fried cauliflower and garnish it with roasted cashew and curry leaves
