Surnali (Sweet Pancakes)


Ingredients:

1.5 cups dosa rice
1 cup  grated coconut
2 cups puffed paddy (Laayi)
1.5 glass curds
A pinch of salt
1.5 cups grated jaggery
A pinch of baking soda (optional)

Method :

Soak Dosa rice for 5 hrs. Drain water and Add grated coconut, puffed paddy, curds and salt to the rice and keep for 15 mins. Grind it.Do not add water. Add grated jaggery according to ur taste and grind again. Keep it overnight to ferment. Add a pinch of baking soda (optional) in the morning before making surnalis
