Kandha Poha


Ingredients :
2 cups thick Poha
2 medium onions chopped
2 potatoes boiled and cut into small cubes
2 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp oil
1 sprig of curry leaves
3 green chillies chopped or slit
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
1 tsp Sugar
Juice of half lemon
Coriander leaves to garnish

Method:

Soak thick Poha in water for till it becomes soft. Drain the water. heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds. when they begin to splutter add cumin seeds and curry leaves. add in chopped onions and green chillies. Saute for 5 mins. Add turmeric powder, sugar, poha, potato and salt. Add lemon juice. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot
