Ingredients:
1 cup Lima beans
1 tsp coriander seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp methi seeds
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
5 garlic cloves
4 kashmiri red chillies
Oil 2 tsp+ 3 tsp
3 round red chillies roasted
Half tsp turmeric powder
1 cup grated coconut
2 chopped onion
1 chopped tomato
Salt
Method:
Soak the Lima beans for 3-4 hrs and pressure cook it till it becomes soft.
Roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, methi seeds, mustard seeds, garlic, kashmiri red chillies in a little oil till u get a nice aroma. Grind it along with the round roasted red chillies and turmeric powder. Make a smooth paste. Then add the grated coconut and pulse again for 15 seconds.
Heat oil in a kadai. Saute chopped onion till brown. Add chopped tomato and fry well. Add the ground masala and fry for 5-6 mins. Add the cooked lima beans, salt and water and bring to a boil
