Ingredients:
1 cup cashews
2 tbsp ghee
2 tsp oil
1 large onion diced
1 tomato roughly chopped
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1.5 tsp kasoori methi
1/2 cup curds (at room temperature)
Salt
Coriander leaves to garnish
Method;
- Fry cashews in ghee till they change colour. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a kadai. Fry diced onions till brown.
- Add the chopped tomato and fry till it becomes mushy
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry again. Add in coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and kasoori methi.
- Remove the kadai from flame and add the curds and mix well. Put the kadai back on flame and add the salt. Mix well.
- Allow it to cool and grind it into a fine paste.
- Pour the paste again in the kadai. Bring to a boil and add the roasted cashews and garnish with coriander leaves
