Plain Dosa and Tomato Fry


Dosa
  Ingredients:
    1 measure urad dal
    2 measures dosa rice
    1 measure boiled rice
    Salt

  Method:
      Soak Urad dal, dosa rice and boiled rice for 5 hours. Grind a thick batter and keep to ferment overnight. Add salt and make thick dosas. Fry on both the sides

Tomato Fry
   Ingredients:
     1 sliced onion
     2 tomatoes chopped
     2 tsp oil
     1 sprig curry leaves
     1/2 tsp turmeric powder
     1 tsp Hing
     2 tsp red chilli powder
     2 tsp Rasam or sambhar powder
     Salt
     1 tsp sugar
     Coriander leaves to garnish
   
   Method:
  •   Heat oil in a pan. Fry the sliced onions till brown.
  •  Add curry leaves. turmeric powder, red chilli powder, hing, rasam or sambhar powder and mix well. 
  • Add chopped tomatoes, salt, sugar, little water and fry till tomatoes become soft. Garnish with coriander leaves
