Ingredients:
2 cups Idli rawa
Half cup grated coconut
2 cups puffed paddy (laayi)
1 cup buttermilk
Jaggery as per taste
1/4 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup chopped cashews (optional)
Method:
- Dry Roast Idli rawa for 5 mins. Allow it to cool.
- Grind grated coconut, puffed paddy (laayi), buttermilk and jaggery . Do not add water.
- Mix the idli rawa with the ground batter.
- Add baking soda, salt, chopped cashews (optional). Mix well.
- Pour in idli moulds and steam for 15 -20 mins
