This is my favourite eggless chocolate cake recipe. This recipe yields a large amount of batter. I have made this cake in two trays. A 10 by 6 cake pan and a small loaf pan
Ingredients:
3 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
Half tsp salt
6 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 and 3/4 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 cup milk
1 tbsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp vinegar
Half cup oil
Method:
- Preheat oven to 325F for 10 minutes.
- Grease 2 trays (one 10 by 5 and another loaf pan)
- Mix water, milk, vanilla, vinegar and oil in a large bowl
- Add sugar and mix till it dissloves
- Sieve the flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder. Add this to the wet ingredients and gently fold the battter.
- Pour this in the greased trays and bake it in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or till a toothpick inserted comes out clean
