Murgh Kaali Mirch

Ingredients:

Half kg chicken cut into medium sized pieces
3 tsp oil
2 onions sliced
4 garlic cloves chopped
2 sprig curry leaves
6 cashews chopped
3 tsp crushed black pepper

To Grind:
  Half inch ginger piece
  3 garlic cloves
  3 green chillies
  Half cup chopped coriander leaves
  Salt
  Half tsp turmeric powder
  2 tsp tandoori masala powder
  Half cup curds

Method:

  • Grind all the ingredients mentioned under 'To Grind' and marinate the chicken with this paste for 2 hours
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the sliced onions till brown
  • Add chopped garlic, curry leaves, cashews, crushed black pepper and saute 
  • Now add the marinated chicken and cook on a slow flame till chicken is done
