Ingredients :
For the marination :
20 pieces of bite size boneless chicken
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Half tsp red chilli powder
Half tsp salt
1 tbsp yoghurt
Half tsp pepper powder
A pinch of turmeric powder
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp maida
Seasoning :
2 tsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
5 garlic cloves finely chopped
3 green chillies slit
2 sprigs of curry leaves
Seasoning paste :
2 tbsp thick yoghurt
Salt
1 tsp chilli powder
Half tsp sugar
2 cloves of garlic grated
Method:
- Clean the chicken and pat them with a paper them. Make it completely dry
- Marinate the chicken with the ingredients mentioned under 'ingredients for marination' except cornstarch and maida. Keep aside for an hour.
- After an hour add the cornstarch and maida and mix well. Shallow fry the chicken and keep aside
- In a separate bowl, Mix all the ingredients mentioned under 'Seasoning paste'. Keep aside
- Heat oil in a wok. Add the cumin seeds. When it begins to change colour add garlic and green chillies. Saute till garlic turns brown. Now add the curry leaves. Fry for a minute
- Now add the seasoning paste and keep stirring till the mixture becomes dry.
- Add the shallow fried chicken pieces. Toss well and serve hot
