Eggless Chocolate Cupcake


These are the best cupcakes that I ever made. It was very moist and delicious and this recipe is definitely foolproof !!! Do try this easy recipe !
  
Ingredients:
1.5 cups maida
3/4 cup granulated sugar (If u are not going to do the frosting, then add 1 cup)
1/3 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder 
1 tsp baking soda
Half tsp Salt
1 cup water
Half cup oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp vinegar

For the Frosting :
1 cup Betty Crocker rich and creamy vanilla frosting
Red food colour few drops
Coloured sprinkles


Method:

  • Preheat oven to 300 F for 10 minutes
  • Line muffin tray with cupcake liners or grease it. I have used silicon cupcake moulds
  • Sieve the dry ingredients (Maida, sugar, salt, baking soda, cocoa powder). Keep aside
  • In another bowl add all the wet ingredients - oil, vanilla essence, water and vinegar. Mix well 
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients and keep mixing till it is incorporated. The batter must be lump free
  • Pour batter into each mould till it is 2/3 full. Finish off with all the batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes
  • If you want to frost the cupcakes, Let it cool COMPLETELY
  • Mix in the food colour with the frosting and pour into piping bags. Use the star nozzle and decorate your cupcakes as you wish.
