Namak Pare


Ingredients:
2 cups maida
1 and 1/4 tsp salt
Half tsp Ajwain/ Carom seeds
4 tbsp Fine rawa
4 tbsp oil
Water as needed to knead the dough
Oil to deep fry

Method:

  • Mix maida, rawa, salt, ajwain, and oil till it resembles breadcrumbs
  • Add water and make a firm dough. Cover and keep for 15 minutes
  • Divide the dough into 4 equal balls and roll out each ball of dough. Do not make very thin
  • Cut into desired shape with the help of knife or pizza cutter and deep fry in oil on medium flame till it turns golden. Store in airtight container
