Matar Paneer Mughlai

Ingredients:
2 cups paneer cut into cubes
1 cup boiled green peas
2 tsp oil
2 onions chopped
1 tomato chopped
5 tsp fresh cream
Salt
Coriander leaves to garnish
3 tbsp grated cheese

  To Grind:
    1 tsp turmeric powder
    3 tsp chilli powder
    1 tsp cumin seeds
    10 cashews
    1 inch ginger piece
    6 garlic flakes
    3 cloves
    Half inch of cinnamon
    2 pods of cardamom

Method:

  • Grind all the ingredients mentioned under 'To Grind' into a smooth paste
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Fry chopped onions till translucent. 
  • Add chopped tomato and saute. 
  • Add the ground masala and fry for 3 mins. 
  • Add boiled green peas, paneer, 1/2 cup water and cover and cook till paneer becomes soft. 
  • Add fresh cream and salt. Mix well. 
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and grated cheese
