Tomato Omelette


Ingredients:

Half cup Urad Dal
1 cup dosa rice
Half cup maida
1/4 cup rice flour
3/4 cup gram flour/besan
1 chopped tomato
1 chopped onion
3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Salt
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
Oil for making dosas

Method:

  • Soak urad dal and dosa rice for 4-5 hrs. Grind to a smooth batter. Allow it to ferment overnight.
  • In the morning add maida, rice flour, besan, chopped tomato, chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, salt, turmeric powder and baking soda to the batter. Add enough water and make a smooth running batter and make thick dosas. Fry on both sides
