Palak / Spinach Puri


Ingredients :

3 cups Spinach tightly packed
3 green chillies
4 garlic cloves
2 tsp fennel seeds
2 tsp cumin seeds
Salt
2 cups wheat flour
Water to knead the dough
Oil to deep fry

Method:

  • Wash the spinach and boil it with green chillies till soft.
  • Remove spinach and green chillies from the water and put it in a blender. Add garlic, fennel, cumin and salt. Make a smooth paste
  • Mix this paste with the wheat flour and knead a soft dough. Add more water if required
  • Make small puris with this dough and deep fry till crisp. Serve with Chutney or tomato ketchup
