Dal Palak


Ingredients:

Toor Dal- 1 cup
Chopped tomatoes- 2
Ghee- 3 tsp
Jeera- 1 tsp
Chopped onion- 2 medium sized
Chopped spinach- 1 bunch
Red chilli pdr- 2 tsp
Turmeric pdr- 1 tsp
Garam masala pdr- 1 tsp
Salt

Method :

Pressure cook  tur dal with tomatoes  for 15 mins or 5 whistles. Transfer in a vessel. Add salt and boil it.  Heat ghee in a pan. Add jeera. When it changes colour add onions and garlic. When the onions become translucent add chopped spinach, red chilli pdr, turmeric pdr,  and garam masala pdr. Saute for 2 mins and add it to the dal.
