Amritsari Prawn Makhani


Ingredients:

1/2 kg prawns
3 tsp curds
2 tsp vinegar
1/2 onion chopped
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp jeera pdr
1 tsp coriander pdr
2 tsp chilli pdr
Salt

2 tomatoes cut into quarters
1.5 tsp butter
2.5 tsp cream
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp chilli pdr
1 tsp ginger chopped
1 green chilli
1 tsp jeera pdr
1 tsp coriander pdr
Salt
Coriander leaves to garnish

Method :

Blend tomatoes into puree
Marinate the prawns with curds, vinegar, onion, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, coriander pdr, jeera pdr, chilli pdr and salt for 2 hrs
Heat butter in a kadai. Add prawns and cook till half done. Add chilli pdr, coriander pdr, jeera pdr, ginger, salt, and slit green chilli. Mix well. Add tomato puree, cream and cook till the gravy thickens. Add sugar and simmer for 20-25 mins. Garnish with coriander leaves
