Ingredients:
2 drumsticks cut into 2 inch sticks
2 tsp oil
2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp methi seeds
1 tsp urad dal
1 tsp jeera
1 sprig curry leaves
2 chopped onion
1 tsp turmeric pdr
3 tsp red chilli pdr
1 tsp coriander pdr
Salt
200ml coconut milk (mixed with 1 tsp besan)
Method :
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, methi seeds, urad dal, cumin seeds and curry leaves. When they start to splutter add onion and saute for a few mins. Add the drumstick pieces, turmeric pdr, red chilli pdr, coriander pdr and salt. Stir well. Add water and simmer and cook until the pieces are tender. Add coconut milk (mixed with besan). Cook till the gravy is thick.
