Korean Fire Chicken


I got this recipe from my facebook friend Dear Reshma who is a wonderful cook. This recipe belongs to one of her friend Manjusha. Thanks Reshma for the super spicy and easy recipe. I have made a few changes in the original recipe to suit our taste:-)

Ingredients:
3 chicken drumsticks
6 Kashmiri red chillies
2 garlic cloves
Half inch of ginger
Half tomato roughly chopped
Salt to taste
1/ 2tsp sugar
1/2 tsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp each chopped ginger and chopped garlic
Coriander leaves to garnish


Method :

Soak red chillies in warm water for 20 mins and grind with ginger, garlic and tomato.
Marinate chicken with the above paste, salt, sugar, honey, pepper powder, soy sauce, chopped ginger and garlic and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Heat oil or ghee in a non stick pan. Put the chicken pieces and fry on low heat till chicken is cooked and the masala coats the chicken and becomes dry. Garnish with coriander leaves
