Punjabi Rajma


Ingredients :
1 cup rajma/Kidney beans
2 tbsp Butter
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp chopped garlic
1 tsp chopped ginger
2 medium onions chopped
1 tomato chopped
3 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
Half tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp garam masala powder
Coriander leaves to garnish

Method :
Soak Rajma for 5-6 hrs and cook them in a pressure cooker. Keep aside.
Heat butter. Add the cumin seeds and saute till it changes colour. Addthe ginger and garlic and fry for a minute, Add the chopped onions and fry til they turn golden brown. Add chopped tomatoes and fry for a while. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder and fry for 2 mins. Add the rajma and salt and mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves
