Baked Rice Pudding


Ingredients:
Half cup Basmati Rice
Half litre milk
1 egg
6 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup chopped dry fruits
1 tbsp vanilla custard powder


Method:

  • Boil rice in water till soft. Drain water.
  • Boil milk till it reduces to 1/4. 
  • In a separate bowl beat the egg. Add custard powder. 
  • Pour the egg mixture to the hot milk. Add half the quantity of sugar. Bring to a boil. Keep aside.
  • Grease a baking dish with butter.
  • Add the remaining sugar and dry fruits to the rice and spread it in the tray. Then pour the egg+milk mixture. 
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 30 mins at 325 degrees F
