Ingredients:
For the marinade:
1 kg Chicken
1/2 cup curds
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
3 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
Salt
1 tsp Chaat masala
2 tsp garam masala powder
Other ingredients:
2 tbsp butter/oil
2 onions diced
3 green chillies slit lengthwise
3 tomatoes chopped
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp tandoori masala
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp tomato ketchup
Coriander leaves to garnish
Method:
- Marinate chicken with curds, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, pepper powder, salt, chaat masala and garam masala powder and refrigerate for 2 hours
- Heat butter/oil in kadai. Saute diced onions till brown.
- Add the green chillies, chopped tomatoes and fry till mushy.
- Add coriander powder, cumin powder, tandoori masala, sugar and tomato ketchup and saute for 2 minutes till oil leaves the sides of the kadai
- Add the marinated chicken and water if required. Cover and cook till chicken is fully cooked and the gravy becomes thick. Garnish with lots of coriander leaves
