Ingredients :
1 cup fine semolina
Half cup chopped pineapple
1 cup water
1 cup milk
Few strands of saffron soaked in milk for half an hour
2 tbsp chopped cashew
1 tbsp raisins
Quarter cup ghee
1 and half cups sugar (Increase or decrease as per taste)
1 tsp cardamom powder
Method:
- Mix water and milk and keep it in a sauce pan to boil on a medium flame
- Roast the dry fruits in little ghee and keep aside
- Heat the remaining ghee in a non stick pan. Fry the semolina till it slightly changes colour and gives out a nice aroma
- Now add the boiled water+milk and keep stirring so that there are no lumps formed.
- Add the pineapple and cover and cook for 5 minutes
- Now add the sugar and mix well.
- Add the dry fruits, saffron and cardamom powder
- Cover and keep on a low flame for 5 minutes. Serve warm
