Gobi Pepper Fry


Ingredients:

Cornflour- 3 tbsp
Maida- 2 tbsp
Rice flour- 1 tbsp
Salt
Red Chilli pdr- 2 tsp
Cauliflower florets- 2 cups
Refined oil for frying

Oil- 2 tsp
Chopped garlic- 6 flakes
Curry leaves- 1 sprig
Chopped onion - 2 medium
Soya sauce- 2tsp
Tomato ketchup- 2 tsp
Black pepper pdr- 3 tsp or crushed peppercorns- 7
Whisked yoghurt- 2 tbsp
Curry leaves- half sprig fried in oil till crisp

Method :

Make a batter of cornflour, maida, rice flour, salt and red chilli powder. Dip cauliflower florets in it and deep fry. Keep aside
Heat oil in a pan. Saute chopped garlic till brown. Add curry leaves. Add chopped onion and fry till it becomes golden brown.
Then add soya sauce, tomato ketchup, black pepper powder/ crushed peppercorns, salt and yoghurt. U may add water if necessary
Finally add the fried cauliflower and garnish with fried curry leaves
