Egg Biryani


Ingredients:

6 Green chillies
Half bunch of pudina leaves
1 bunch of coriander leaves
 8 flakes garlic
Small piece of ginger
10 eggs boiled
3 tbsp ghee
4 cloves
Small piece of cinnamon
2 bay leaves
6 peppercorns
4 sliced onions
1.5 tsp turmeric pdr
1 tsp jeera pdr
1 tsp garam masala pdr
1 tsp Coriander pdr
3 tbsp curds
3 cups Basmati Rice soaked in water for 15 mins
6 cups water

Method :

Make a fine paste of Green chillies, pudina leaves, coriander leaves,  garlic and ginger. Keep aside.
Boil 10 eggs. You may use whole eggs or cut it into large pieces as i have done in this dish (Discarded the yolks)
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add  cloves, cinnamon,  bay leaves and peppercorns. Fry for sometime.  Add finely sliced onions  and fry till it changes colour. Add turmeric pdr, jeera pdr,  garam masala pdr and coriander pdr.  Fry for 2 mins. Add curds and fry again. Add the eggs and mix well.  Add the soaked basmathi rice . Mix well. Add water (1:2 ratio) For 3 cups of rice 6 cups of water. Add salt. Cover the lid and cook for 10 mins or 3 whistles.
