This is a yummy cake recipe by my aunt who is an amazing cook Nandini Kini. She also has a food blog by the name "Kini's kitchen". Do check for her lip smacking recipes here
Ingredients:
1 Cup Maida
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
18 seedless dates
3/4 cup Milk
1 tsp baking soda
Method:
Soak dates in milk for 2 hrs and grind it along with sugar into a smooth paste.
Add oil and mix well. Sift the maida and baking soda.
Incorporate it with the wet ingredients. Pour into a greased tray. Bake at 350F for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean
