Black Chana Bhutthi


Ingredients:
1 cup black chana
2 onions chopped
1 cup grated coconut
Marble sized tamarind
5 round red chillies roasted
3 tsp coriander seeds
Salt
3 tsp oil

Method:
Soak chana for 4-5 hours. Pressure cook it till soft.
Grind a coarse paste using coconut, chillies, tamarind and coriander seeds.

Heat oil in a kadai. Fry the onions till they turn slightly brown. Add the ground masala and saute till it becomes dry. Add in the boiled chana, salt and little water. Serve with rice and dal.
